Save Mart Supermarkets has teamed up with Valley Children’s Healthcare to help raise money for critical services. From Monday, April 17 to Sunday, April 30, shoppers can tear off $2, $3 or $5 coupons at checkout. Once scanned, the donation will be added to their grocery bill. All proceeds will benefit this premiere pediatric facility. The fundraising drive will be held at 44 Save Mart stores throughout the Central Valley, from Sonora to Porterville, including the local stores in Oakdale and Riverbank.

The mission of Valley Children’s Healthcare is to provide high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services to children, regardless of their ability to pay, and to continuously improve the health and well-being of children.

“The Save Mart Companies has been investing heavily in children’s health programs for years. We’re happy to partner with such a renowned facility to ensure our kids in the valley continue to have access to vital care,” said Randy Slentz, General Manager for Save Mart. “Last year during the same drive, our generous customers and employees raised more than $23,000 for the hospital.”

To date, Save Mart and its shoppers have donated more than $866,000 through this annual fundraising campaign and Shares powered by eScrip, a program in which up to 3 percent of shoppers’ qualified purchases is directed to the hospital.

“We are so grateful to Save Mart Supermarkets for their ongoing support. We look forward to another successful campaign in support of Valley Children’s Healthcare,” said Rob Saroyan, Valley Children’s Vice President, Philanthropy and Chief Development Officer.
