Riverbank Mayor Richard O’Brien takes time out to read at his monthly ‘Mayor’s Book Club’ installment at the Riverbank Branch of the Stanislaus County Library. It’s normally held at 1 p.m. on the second Monday of the month, as it was here, on Oct. 14. Next month, because of all the holiday activities, it will probably be rescheduled. Other activities at the local library branch include a Teen Book Club, art labs, Teen Health and Wellness and some Halloween Fun is scheduled for Thursday, Oct.31, at 3:30 p.m.
