Special Downtown Open House Celebrates Wellness

Downtown Riverbank was quite the buzz this past Wednesday, with people stopping by Vena’s Secrets Wellness and Skincare Studio for the annual open house. The special event is held once a year and is filled with specials and discounts for services and products in the shop. The event was held all day starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m. and guests were offered a variety of refreshments and food options as well as introduced to the staff and services throughout the day.

According to Clinical Esthetician, shop owner and skin care line proprietor, Vena Pearson Hudgins, there were over 400 people that attended the event throughout the day and there were three different local restaurants Café Bravo, Familia Bistro, and Valley Donuts that catered food during the event.

Along with specialty cocktails, Hudgins also had tote bags with goodies for attendees that included items like a mask, skin care products, and a polish with a nail file.

Hudgins flew in a couple of women with Coquette Chronicles from Beverly Hills which is a luxury cosmetic line that specializes in mink lashes and mascaras for her clients and new guests.

The lashes were a hit at Vena’s and there was a line of ladies that wanted to enhance their eyes with mink lashes. The one stop beauty shop also had a makeup artist on hand to complete the look if needed.

Skincare is not only for women as the men that attended the event realized when Vena helped them with some skin care choices from her new line.

At Vena’s there are a variety of services to choose from like nails, fitness, massage therapy, and the most advanced skin care treatments.

“The attendance was the best in 15 years plus we shipped product to three other states that had seen us on social media,” added Hudgins. “This was the first year we had Vena’s Skincare (product line) and the response was overwhelming.”
