For the 12th consecutive year, the Stanislaus Association of School Administrators (ACSA) Charter, along with the Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE), Mocse Credit Union and E. & J. Gallo Winery, will be honoring students who have succeeded despite challenges. The recognition event is planned on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 a.m. at the Petersen Event Center in Modesto, 720 12th St.

Riverbank High School student Kimberly Romero is among the 24 students due for recognition at the program, representing 14 school districts from around the county.

Tickets are $15 each and must be purchased in advance. The “Every Student Succeeding” program honors students who have succeeded against challenges, gone beyond expectations, or simply won the hearts of their teachers and other staff.

At the end of the program one student will be selected as the region nominee and receive a $500 scholarship. They will then participate in the state selection process.
