The Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department has announced it is hosting another edition of Riverbank’s Got Talent, with auditions scheduled for early next year.

Recreation Supervisor Kerrie Webb said the auditions for the contest will begin Jan. 8 and continue through Feb. 8, with the main competition scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Riverbank Community Center on Santa Fe Street, across from Cardozo Middle School.

Webb said they are looking for all kinds of talent, divided into five age groups, and expecting performers with anything from singing to dancing, juggling to magic.

“Just any talent you have,” she said. “Come and share it with the community.”

The age groups are Under 6 years of age, 7-10, 11-13, and 14-18, with the 18 and older group topping off the list.

Riverbank’s Got Talent was first staged as part of the then city-sponsored Farmers Market, back in the early 2000s.

All acts must be approved, Webb noted, and must be appropriate for all ages. For more information, contact her at 209-863-7150.
