Tea Party Session Features Media Guru
Tea Party

Have you ever wondered how to set up a Facebook page? Twitter? Instagram? Is speaking in front of a crowd hard for you? How about doing a radio or TV interview?

Media Guru Athens Abell will be at the next Tea Party Patriots meeting to discuss these issues. Athens is owner at Timeless Treasures and owner and producer at Central Valley Hornet. Athens’ college education has been at Mission College and West Valley College. She’s taught art at Waterford Charter Schools and was an independent art instructor at Manteca Charter Schools.

The meeting will be this evening, Wednesday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m., at Grizzly Rock Cafe in Turlock, 4905 N. Golden State Blvd., just north of Taylor Road.

Athens will teach attendees how to use social media to get a message out, how to give an interview and how to present oneself to the public. These are great tools to use if you are running for public office or just trying to get the conservative message out at local board meetings.

Also joining in for the meeting will be several candidates running for local offices.
