After some much needed rain hit the Central Valley over the past week, residents enjoyed the outdoors as soon as there was a break in the weather. Top photo, friends Adrianna De Rollo, 7, at left, and Audrey Richey, 7 spent some time on the jungle gym on a cloudy Friday at Silva Park. At side, city streets showed evidence of the precipitation after the rain-filled storm cell made its way through Riverbank. More wet weather is predicted this week, El Nino brining back hope to the Valley and giving the city a much needed drink of water.
