Mark your calendars and plan to join the Riverbank Citizen of the Year Committee at the 53rd Annual Riverbank Citizen/Youth/Business of the Year banquet. The Awards dinner will take place on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Riverbank Community Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased in advance only. The deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, Jan. 13. Tickets are available at City Hall North and the Riverbank Museum. More information is available by calling 209-863-7153.

The three nominees for Citizen of the Year are Anthony McKinney, Diane Talbert and Elias Cordova. Youth of the Year nominees are Valleri Gobel, Tim Brown, Eli Vernon, Mikayla Stewart and Nathaniel Martinez. Business of the Year nominations were not available at press time.

Festivities on Jan. 16 will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. and the dinner at 7 p.m.; the Community Center is at 3600 Santa Fe.
