Traffic Advisory Issued For Riverbank Roadwork

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various construction activities on State Route 108 (SR-108) from Rumble Road in Modesto to Claus Road in Riverbank. Work will occur as follows: the #3 (right) lane and right shoulder of SR-108 will be closed through Friday, May 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for utility work; one-way traffic control will be in effect on eastbound and westbound SR-108 from Crawford Road to Silver Rock Road that began on Monday, May 1 and will continue through Friday, May 5 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. for paving operations; the right turn lane and left turn lane on SR-108 will have long-term closures in effect that began on Monday, May 1 and will continue through Friday, June 16 for utility work.

Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
