A traffic accident at midday Saturday, Oct. 19 caused a backup of traffic and necessary detours while fire and police units worked to move one of the involved vehicles off the center divide. The crash occurred at the corner of Claribel and Oakdale roads on the south edge of Riverbank, adjacent to the Crossroads Shopping Center. No additional information was available from authorities by press time.
