The Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club has had to cancel a unique house/garden tour that was originally planned on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The tour was to offer a taste of history in the form of historic buildings (one built in 1863) and trees, education via several ‘Walk and Learn’ vignettes, inspiration through DIY garden art displays, and shopping opportunities with ‘Plant and Hand-Painted Garden Art Signs’ sales.

Officials hope to reschedule the event for a later date; proceeds from the day - when they can have the tour - are earmarked to go toward EFCGC scholarships for Escalon/Farmington youth. For more information, email escalonfarmingtongc@gmail.com, call (209) 844-6213, or visit www.EFCGC.wordpress.com.
