Riverbank’s United Methodist Church congregation members are at it again, cooking up a homemade soup and pie lunch for the community.
This annual autumn event is planned over two days, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24 at the church, corner of Third and Atchison streets in Riverbank.
Come to eat in or call for to go orders or deliveries. Soup and bean choices are available for $3.50 and include chicken noodle, corn chowder, cream of broccoli and vegetable beef soup, white beans with ham, or Portuguese beans with linguica.
Pie varieties, available at $2.50 per slice, will include apple, banana cream, berry, chocolate, coconut cream, custard, lemon meringue, pecan, pumpkin, razzleberry and rhubarb.
