Valley Art Association Sets Annual Show In Riverbank

Valley Art Association is hosting its Spring Art Show at the Riverbank City Council Chambers, 6707 Third St., Suite B, in Riverbank later this month. The Art Show viewing is Saturday, June 25 and is open to the public from noon to 3 p.m. Entries are for members only and new members are welcome. Receiving of entries is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 24. Entry categories are oil/acrylics, water media, pastel, graphics/mixed media, sculpture and graphics.

Founded in 1972, Valley Art Association is a non-profit organization that continues to encourage art in the public places and awards scholarships to deserving high school students who go on to major in Art in a school of higher learning. The public is welcome to meet with the group the first Tuesday of each month at the Boy Scout Hall at 3017 High St. in Riverbank. Call Carol Earle at 209-380-6288 for additional information.
