The “Valley Vote” is an opportunity for friends and family members of the young artists as well as Central Valley residents to vote for their favorite submission to the 2017 Congressional Art Competition through an online form. The winner of the “Valley Vote” contest, as determined by the submission with the most votes, will be announced at a reception on May 8 honoring all participants and will have their artwork featured in Rep. Denham’s D.C. office. Congressman Denham represents California’s 10th congressional district, which includes Stanislaus County and a portion of San Joaquin County. He is the chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials and also serves on the House Committees on Agriculture and Natural Resources.
