Weekend Festival Features Music, Crafts In Twain Harte
music

Home Grown will be celebrating 44 years of playing music together at Concert In the Pines.

This special musical event is scheduled for Saturday, July 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (or a little longer) on the Rotary Stage at Eproson Park in Twain Harte.

Come in the morning, if you can, and set out your blanket and low-back chairs to reserve your spot for an evening of fun. After staking out your place for the evening show, walk down a few blocks for the Fire On the Mountain Arts and Crafts Fair, which will run all day on Saturday, July 22 and continue Sunday, July 23 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a variety of vendors and performers.

The popular summer event draws over 5000 quality craft purchasers and music lovers, organizers said. Starting at the Twain Harte arch, on Joaquin Gully, nearly 100 high caliber artists will display and sell their wares. The variety includes photography, paintings, metal work, pottery, fine jewelry, clothing and accessories, woodworks, stained glass, folk art, florals, bird houses and feeders, leather goods, soaps and lotions, garden art, and face painting. Along with the crafts, the fair has many gourmet food booths and music throughout the festival.
