WEEKLY MANEUVERS
garbage

The stay-at-home policy in response to the COVID-19 outbreak is keeping many people home, which sees many more cars being parked in front of houses during the day these past few months. The result is a bit of difficulty for garbage truck drivers on their pick up rounds each week. Drivers of the bulky vehicles must thread their machinery between cars to pick up the containers and shake them into the belly of the truck. Then they must thread the garbage or recycling can between the parked vehicles. All in a day’s work, but it sometimes slows down completion of the routes just a bit.
