Weeknight Work Scheduled Along Highway 99 In Region

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 99 (SR-99) from the Stanislaus/San Joaquin County line to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. No consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time. Work will occur as follows:

• The #1 (left), #2 (middle) lanes on northbound and southbound SR-99 from Stanislaus/San Joaquin County line to SR-120/Manteca Bypass will alternately close evenings now through Friday, May 19, 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.

• The northbound and southbound on and off-ramps on SR-99 at Austin Road will close evenings through Friday, May 19, 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The northbound on and off-ramps on SR-99 at Fulton Avenue will close nightly through Friday, May 19, 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The #2 (middle) and #3 (right) lanes on southbound SR-99 from Fulton Avenue to the Stanislaus/San Joaquin County line will close nightly through Friday, May 19, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The southbound on and off-ramps at Main Street (Ripon) to SR-99 will close through Friday, May 19, 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The northbound and southbound on-ramp from Arch Road to SR-99 will close through Friday, May 19, nightly, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The northbound on and off-ramps from Jack Tone Road to SR-99 will close nightly through Friday, May 19, 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes on northbound and southbound SR-99 from Arch Road to SR-4/Crosstown Freeway will alternately close through Friday, May 19, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• The northbound and southbound on and off-ramps on SR-99 from Mariposa Road to Golden Gate Avenue will close through Friday, May 19, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues. For the safety of workers and other motorists, remember to Slow for the Cone Zone.
