YES (Youth Entertainment Stage) KIDETTES is seeking students in first through fifth grades to be actors, singers, and dancers for Disney’s “Cinderella, Kids”.

Open auditions will be held on:

Thursday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m., Martin Petersen Event Center; Saturday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m. at Johansen High School Theatre; Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m. at Downey High School Theatre.

Attendance at only one audition is required. No experience or preparation necessary. All audition materials will be provided.

The timeless, “rags to riches” fairy tale becomes a new audience favorite in Disney’s Cinderella KIDS, an adaptation of the treasured animated film that will charm its way into your heart and remind audiences that dreams really can come true. Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball. With a little help from her mice friends – and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother – Cinderella’s dreams come true. She goes to the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love.

Production commitment is extracurricular and includes weekends, Oct. 11 through Nov. 22. A tuition of $175 per student is in place to help defer production costs; scholarships are available. For additional information about these auditions and performance times, visit www.yescompany.org.
