Memorial Day Service A Virtual Remembrance
Memorial day

The City of Riverbank’s 2021 Memorial Day Remembrance event at the Veteran’s Memorial Wall has been converted for the second year, from the usual attended public event to a “Live Stream Event” due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual Memorial Day celebration will be held on Monday, May 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will be streamed live on the City of Riverbank’s Facebook and Instagram.

“The health and safety of our veterans, residents, and community is our priority,” stated Gaby Hernandez, Confidential Assistant for the City of Riverbank. “We wish to remember and honor those who died in active military service, those who have served and those that are serving in the various branches of the United States Armed Forces.”

Residents, family, and friends are encouraged to watch the Memorial Day Virtual Event – Never Forget, through the City’s social media pages. They will also post the video on the City of Riverbank’s YouTube Channel.
