Part two of the continuing series of Movies at the Park resumes on Saturday, July 13 with the showing of the film “The Guardian” in Jacob Myers Park, beginning after dark.

Last month, the first movie was shown in Silva Park, and the third and final one for the season will be shown on Saturday, July 27 in Castleberg Park, featuring “Matilda”.

The movies are being shown by the Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department, part of their summer of fun, with events for families, all over town.

This Saturday’s feature, “The Guardian”, is a 2006 action-adventure film starring Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher. It focuses on the United States Coast Guard and their Aviation Survival Technician (AST) program.
