One of two cranes in the area last week places one of a couple of massive cooling units onto the trailer of a semi-truck preparing to move it to where it will be installed. The work is being done by a company called Aeriz, at what used to be warehouses for the former cannery. Aeriz has a Development Agreement and Conditional Use Permit to build a commercial cannabis facility in both existing and future buildings there. The site is on Sierra Street, right at Railroad Avenue, about a block from Patterson Road.
