Band music returns for a summer run this month to Jacob Myers Park, starting Saturday, May 7. It is a resumption of what used to be called Concerts in the Park that got halted by all the limitations put in place because of the COVID pandemic. This weekend will see the beginning of four Saturday music events there again, renamed the Summer Concert Series. Scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., this week sees Nathan Ignatio performing folk and country music. On May 14, it will be Wise Guy’z with a variety of cover music, followed by more variety from Horatio and Jake on May 21, and closing out on Saturday, May 28, with a performance by the Triple D Band, playing ‘no-nonsense’ rock and roll.
