New archery program offered for residents

The City of Riverbank’s Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with Naser, a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor, to offer a six-week Archery Program for those ages 13 and up. The program will be hosted at the Riverbank Sports Complex, 2119 Morrill Road in Riverbank. Archers will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a two-and-a-half-hour beginner course at a cost of $250 for the six-week program. Interested parties can also drop in for $25 per visit.

Participants can bring their own recurve bows and arrows. There is a limited supply of recurve bows and arrows that will be provided.
