New Insurance Agency Opens On Patterson Road

A new insurance agency has opened in Riverbank, with a ribbon cutting celebrated this past week.

Monica Perez has opened a Farmers Insurance Agency, located at 2119 Patterson Road, Suite 13.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was held in front of the store on Thursday, Sept. 6 with an open house also hosted to introduce the new business to the community.

Perez was surrounded by family, friends and her coworkers, along with area representatives of the insurance organization. Also helping out were members of the board of directors of the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce, which, in addition to the ribbon and scissors, presented her with a Chamber placard to display in her shop.

Mayor Richard O’Brien, Vice Mayor Darlene Barber-Martinez and Councilman Cal Campbell welcomed Perez to the business community with a proclamation from the council.

A representative of Congressman Jeff Denham’s district office presented her with an official resolution recognizing her business as well.
