Coming up on Tuesday, April 29, the Housing Authority of the City of Riverbank will host a special Grand Opening celebration for the new McRitchie Community Center. The center is at 6600 Third St., Riverbank, and the program will begin at noon. RSVPs are appreciated but not required.

Partners with the City of Riverbank in the project include the Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Housing Authority of the City of Riverbank. TPH Architects was the architectural firm with Simile Construction the general contractor.

The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, light refreshments, and opportunities to connect with community leaders, staff, and residents.

In announcing the grand opening celebration, officials noted that “The newly constructed community center offers public housing residents a range of valuable resources, including educational programs, wellness activities, and social services, fostering a stronger, more connected community for all.”
