Oakdale-Riverbank Fire Calls 2-17-21

The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27 and 28 in Oakdale; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, Feb. 9 through Monday, Feb. 15. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

MONDAY, FEB. 15

2:07 p.m. – Modesto Engine 27, 28 and Battalion 5 responded with Oak Valley Ambulance and CHP for a single vehicle injury accident in the 3000 block of Bentley Road. One patient transported. CHP is investigating. PG&E responded to secure the power pole.

 

THURSDAY, FEB. 11

Battalions 1 and 5 attended area MAC meetings; BC1 attended the South Modesto MAC while BC5 attended the Knights Ferry MAC.

Crews met at various locations to practice pumping and other fire engineer related skills in preparation for upcoming promotional tests.

The joint fire academy continued training on ground ladders today.
