Oakdale-Riverbank Fire Calls 3-9-22

The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27, 28, 29 and 30 in Oakdale, Knights Ferry and Valley Home; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Monday, Feb. 28 through Monday, March 7. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

MONDAY, MARCH 7

21:30 p.m. – Engine 27, E28 and Battalion 5 responded to a single vehicle rollover at Crane and Patterson Road. CHP is investigating

 

SUNDAY, MARCH 6

No time listed – Modesto along with units from Turlock, Patterson and Stanislaus Consolidated rotated trough Multi Casualty Incident training at station 17.

 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2

4:59 p.m. – Modesto Engine 5, E-3, E-1, E-2, E-9, T-5, T-1, BC-1 and Stanislaus BC-2 responded to a working commercial structure fire in the 1400 block of Coffee Road. Crews arrived on scene and were able to isolate the fire to the grease fryer inside the kitchen. Crews remained on scene to assist with clean up and water removal in the business caused by the sprinkler system.

9:15 p.m. – Stanislaus and Modesto units responded to a working structure fire in the city of Empire. Crews found a fire on the exterior of the residence and were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene to check for extension into the residence.

 

MONDAY, FEB. 28

No time listed – Engine 28 responded to the corner of F Street and Yosemite in Oakdale for a sheared off hydrant. Crews worked for hours with Oakdale Public Works in securing and shutting off the hydrant.
