She was a native of Alabama. She lived in Riverbank 25 years.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Smith of Riverbank; children, Rob Philips of Riverbank, Tammy Kingston of Washington; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
