On Saturday, June 7, 2025, our beloved Anne Brown passed peacefully at the age of 84, surrounded by her children.

Born May 30, 1941, in Torbay, Newfoundland, Canada, to James Smith and Emma Langford, Anne was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Michael, William, Betty, Theresa, Mary, and Cecilia; and her devoted husband, Edward Steven Brown.

She is survived by her children James, Edith, Tara, Anita, and Frank; her cherished niece/sister Peggy, extended Canadian family, 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

To Anne, family meant more than blood and if you knew her, you were family. Her joyful spirit, radiant smile, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her. She brought laughter, warmth, and light wherever she went, and she will be deeply missed.
