Bernard Robert Foster, 89, of Gustine passed away Monday, June 13 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Foster was a resident of Gustine for three years. Prior to that he lived in Knights Ferry for 22 years but has lived in many countries and many states throughout his life. He started his career in the Air Force and flew with Trans International Airlines. His passions included airplanes, hockey, travel and his family.

Mr. Foster is survived by his wife Teri Foster; daughters Bridget Foster (Ron), Deborah Salsa and son Robert Foster (Sheila). Five grandchildren Adam Salsa, Paul Salsa, Eric Salsa (Diana), Trenton Foster, Shauna Foster and two great grandchildren.

Services will be held August 29 at 10 a.m. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, CA. Celebration of his life to follow at Hotel Mission de Oro, Santa Nella, CA.

Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Gustine.
