Darla May (de Graaf) Silva passed from this life into the presence of her Lord on January 27, 2024. Darla was born on January 6, 1951, in Modesto, California to Tom and Georgia de Graaf. She grew up in Turlock and was a member of Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church. At age six, Darla committed her life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. She attended Turlock High School and in recent years, resided in Oakdale with her husband Dennis Silva.

Darla is survived by her husband, Dennis Silva; her daughters, Lori Bianchi (Mike), Christi Stoll and Denise Iverson, and her son, Matthew Silva (Nicole) and their families. Darla is also survived by her brother, Tom de Graaf (Laura) of Virginia Beach, her sister, Diann Fugate (Don) of San Jose and her aunt, Alice Ary of Carson City, NV. Darla was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Georgia de Graaf, and her son-in-law, Harold Stoll.

Darla had a sweet smile and a love for life that touched all who knew and loved her. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain.

A celebration of Darla’s life will be held at Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church on March 2 at 10 a.m., followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.
