Diana Faye Barnett (Watson) entered into eternal rest on November 26, 2022. She was 69. Born in Modesto, California on July 25, 1953, to Donald and Alice Watson, Diana was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was very active in her faith and cherished by all who knew her.
She married the love of her life, Carl Barnett, in 1972 and earlier this year celebrated 50 years of marriage that produced five children, a son and four daughters, 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Diana loved gardening, reading, bowling, sightseeing, visiting with her grandchildren, and long conversations with each of her children. Her laugh was infectious, her smile always warm. She was a constant source of peace and assurance and always made herself available to her children — and was their best listener.
Diana is survived by her husband, Carl, her mother, Alice, sisters, Bobbi and Yvetta, brother, Jeff, her children, Henry (Beth), Diana Lynne (Scott), Tammy (Paul), Lois Irene (Joseph), Renee (Armando) and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Watson.
Services to be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Time and date will be posted on the website of Oakdale Riverbank Memorial Chapel.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Oakdale Riverbank Memorial Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
