Don left his wife of 62 years, Rosalie; his children, Eric, Tod, and David. Preceded in death by children, Jay (Kelly), Jodi Osman, and Florian Marxer, our German exchange student.
Grandchildren include; Jessica Hamilton (Christopher), Sean, Katie, and Leanne Osman, Renee (Bryan) Somner, Casey and Erin Guevara. Great-grandchildren include; Kerry Machado, Veronica and Harlan Guevara, Malia and Taylor Somner, and Atticus Oak Osman.
Mr. Osman taught at Oakdale High School for 38 years. He loved teaching and his students. His favorite subjects to teach were civics and government. His advice would be to participate in democracy by registering and voting. Don’s favorite hobby, other than camping and fishing with his family, was model boating. He and his sons participated in racing for over 20 years. A memorial service is being planned by the model boaters.
