Elaine I. Long, 88, died Wednesday, June 3 in Modesto.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Riverbank. She was a 41-year member and Past Matron of Eastern Star. She was a Past Nobel Grand of Rebekahs.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and was famous for her pies. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.
She was proud of her grandchildren and their accomplishments. She was loved by many friends and her family.
Survivors include her children, Evelyn (Leonard) Halbert and Jerry (Judy) Long, both of Riverbank; brother, Wayne (Jerry) Dake of Idaho; grandchildren, Steven, Leonard Jr., and Jared (Bethany).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Long.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of choice.
