Grotha Della Moore, 98, died Thursday, Jan. 13 of natural causes at her Riverbank home.
She came to Riverbank in 1955 from Arkansas.
Mrs. Moore worked at Tri Valley #2 and retired in 1977.
She is survived by her caregivers, son, Haskell (Rebecca) Moore, and Melinda Luce; sons, Haskell Moore, Elmer Moore, both of Riverbank, Rick Moore of Oakdale; daughters, Jewel Ann Stephens of California, Alice Sue Stephens of Riverbank, Wanda Bishop of Pensacola, FL, Lorene Baeskins of Fort Bragg; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20 at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon.
