Ivan was born in El Paso, TX to Therese (Wolf) and Albert S. Robinson. He graduated from Oakdale HS in 1983. He loved playing football and running track for the Mustangs. He served in the USAF from 1983-1987. He was a member of the American Legion Riders Post 872 of Hughson, CA and loved riding with them. He also enjoyed the weekends in Greeley Hill, fishing and riding horses. Ivan never met a stranger and could always make you smile. He was an Electrician for Hogan Mfg in Escalon, CA.
He is preceded in death by his father Albert S. Robinson and adopted father Herbert F. Frey. Survived by his son Ian Frey currently in the USAF stationed in Japan. His mother Therese Frey of Oregon. Brother Albert Steven, two sisters, Eileen and Kay. His longtime companion Robin (Brock) Young, many nieces and nephews and many longtime friends.
