Joyce Marie Skinner, 71, died Thursday, Feb. 28 at Riverbank Nursing Center.
Mrs. Skinner was a native of Oklahoma. She lived in Riverbank 58 years.
She was a certified nurses aide for nine years. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Riverbank.
She is survived by her children, Scott Skinner of Merced, Jacqualine 'Jackie' Purtle of Stockton, Robin Ames, Jimmy Skinner, and Jonathan Skinner, all of Riverbank; sisters, Frieda Dunn, Kathy Gillman and Sandra Bourland, all of Riverbank; brothers, James Brown of Modesto, Jerry Brown of Riverbank and Matt Brown of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held March 4 at First Missionary Baptist Church.
Oakdale-Riverbank Memorial Chapels in charge of arrangements.
