Kathy, a dedicated nurse and longtime Valley Home resident, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born on December 31, 1959, at Alameda Hospital.

She grew up in Alameda, attending Lincoln School and Alameda High School. She exited high school by passing the California Proficiency Exam and went on to attend Alameda College, where she earned her LVN. She spent her career caring for others, serving for many years as a Charge Nurse.

In the early 1980s, she lived in Manteca before settling in Valley Home in 1984, where she raised her family.

She is survived by her husband; her two sons, Josh and Daniel; and her nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth.
