Lidia Castro Magana, 88, of Riverbank died Saturday, Jan. 24 at Oak Valley Care Center.

Mrs. Magana was a native of Mexico. She lived in Riverbank for six years.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Luis Magana of Illinois, Amelia Madrigal and Maria dela Luz Montanez, both of Riverbank, Piri Magana of Florida, Roberto Magana of Oakdale, Trinidad Magana of Hughson; sisters, Inocencia Castro, Rosa Castro, Daria Castro, all of Mexico; brother, Jesus Castro of Mexico; and 38 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Raquel Orozco.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Riverbank. A rosary will be at 5 p.m. that same day, also at the church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 at the church.

Oakdale-Riverbank Memorial Chapels in charge of arrangements.
