Marian Ursula Hauselmann, 91, passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2022. She was born on January 20, 1931 and raised in Downey, California to parents James and Dorothea Waeny. She met the love of her life, William “Bill” Hauselmann, while attending the San Marino Hall for Girls in South Pasadena, CA. These two Swiss sweethearts married on Aug. 27, 1949 and started the life they had always dreamed. They lovingly raised three sons together. In 1958, Marian, Bill and their sons moved to Oakdale to work on the Blue Star Family Ranch her father James owned. After this, the family created a flourishing cabinet business in Oakdale, Regency Cabinets.

Marian was gifted in the art of hospitality. Her loving home was always open to many friends and family near and as far as Switzerland. Raising her children with her “Schatzi” Bill of 62 years and loving on her grandchildren were the “happiest times” of her life. She enjoyed her country life and her animals. She is survived by her sons, Rick (Dawna) Hauselmann, Michael Hauselmann, all of Oakdale; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hauselmann and youngest son, Craig Hauselmann.

Services will be held at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Viewing Service: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24; Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25.
