Mary Frances Riggs, 31, died Saturday, Aug. 31 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Ms. Riggs was a resident of Merced for one year and previously lived in Riverbank.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Richard Ray Riggs of Merced; parents, Robert Jasper of Modesto and Shelly Roth Jasper of Riverbank, both former residents of Newman; brother, Mike Jasper of Modesto; and uncle, Jim Jasper of Newman; as well as surviving relatives in Oakdale.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Marie Riggs.
Private services will be at a later date.
