MICHAEL GRADY MILLER
Jan. 26, 1953 – April 12, 2024
MICHAEL GRADY MILLER obit

Our beloved father, Michael “Mike” Miller has passed away peacefully from cancer in the comfort of his own home on April 12 at the age of 71, with his loving family right by his side. He had been fighting cancer for the last three years and you would have never known, he never skipped a beat ‘til the very end. He worked every single day only missing a day for his chemo treatment and then right back to work at Pape-Kenworth in French Camp, CA. Michael was one of six children born in Richmond, CA to Deutreen and Hans Macnay Miller. They soon moved to Chowchilla where he grew up. Ever since he was a young boy he had a love for fast, custom, big engine cars. Every day after school he would go work and spend time with his father at the wrecking yard. His love for cars, never stopped there, he was in many destruction derbies, he raced his cars in Madera, built motorcycles and loved riding his Harley Davidson!

He married Debra Lynn Sisk, from their union they had two children, Joshua and Julena Miller. The family later moved to Oakdale, California in 1986 where they then resided for the remainder of his life. That is where he then met the love of his life, Robin, who had two children of her own, Richard and Russell Solansky and then they had their own daughter Sara Miller-Norwood. They then became a blended family and he loved them all as if his own. There are no stepchildren in his family. Mike and Robin were married for 33 years and together for 37 beautiful years. He loved a challenge and had no fear, he was always out for an adrenaline rush from zip lining to skydiving, bungee jumping and hot air balloon rides. The man loved a good weekly Friday night poker game at the Columbo’s. His biggest accomplishment in life was his family! He was so proud of all his children. He always put them first. He was a very hard worker, he worked six days a week to provide his family with a beautiful life, and they are forever grateful for that. He loved nothing more than being there for his family and giving them what he couldn’t have growing up. Michael knew no stranger; he had the most amazing personality and the most beautiful smile. Oh, and that twinkle in his eyes.

He is survived by his five children, six grandchildren: Austin and Madison Miller (Joshua and Kimmy); Gracie and Owen Worley (Julena and Steven); Dylan and Logan Solansky (Richard and Nicole) Peyton Solansky (Russell and Lauren); Fur Baby Ruger Norwood (Sara and Josh) and one great granddaughter Pasilee Miller (Austin); his sisters, Deborah, Sandra, Luanne and Marchelle and his brother Tracy. He is also survived by his wife Robin who loved and took care of him until the very end. He also leaves behind his sweet dog Molly Girl. Michael was a devoted husband, amazing father, and an exceptional papa. A Celebration of Life will be given by all of his children on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds, 1624 E. F St., Oakdale, CA 95361. Remembrances can be made In memory of Michael Grady Miller to Community Hospice at 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356. The family is forever grateful for the exceptional care that we received from Community Hospice.
