Michael Kay of Oakdale, California passed on April 26, 2022 at the age of 80. He was reunited with his beloved wife, Derry Kay who preceded him in death by almost seven years.

Mike worked many jobs throughout his childhood but began his career at PG&E in 1966 where he worked for 36 years. Mike enjoyed being outdoors tending to his yard and working on his vehicles.

He is preceded in death by his sister Loretta Mathies (Bill) and is survived by his daughter Gina Reed (Richard), and his brothers Al Kay Jr. (Janice) and Tom Markiewith (Evie), granddaughter Amanda Reed Hopkins (Damon), great-grandson Oliver, nephews Alvin Kay III (Sonja), Mark Hill (Candi), and nieces Tammy Kay (Sally), and Diana Hill.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 9 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 10 at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery at 1 p.m.
