Miguel Albor passed away peacefully at his home in Riverbank on April 25, 2016 at the age of 82. Miguel was born on September 29, 1933 in La Lobera, Michoacan, Mexico to Eligio and Petra Albor. Miguel has been a resident of Stanislaus County for over 40 years. Miguel was a well-known community leader in his home town of La Lobera. He was a very active parishioner at St. Patrick’s in Escalon and St. Frances of Rome in Riverbank. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather that will be deeply missed.
Miguel leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Veronica, his children: Arturo (Maria Gloria), Maria Luisa (Esequiel), Antonio (Ignacia), Artemia Harvey (Ron), Hermelinda Galindo (Daniel), Miguel Albor Jr. (Luz Maria), Gabriel (Veronica) and Alma Luz Galvan, along with 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Miguel also leaves behind his brothers, Tomas, Alfredo and Rodolfo.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels. A vigil service was held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 7 p.m. and a funeral mass was held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. both at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Escalon. Please consider donations in Miguel’s name to the American Heart Association.
