Mildred Doreen Villela, 79, of Riverbank passed away on November 19, 2008. She was born as Mildred Doreen Green on April 4, 1929 in Arkansas and has lived in Riverbank for four years, previously living in Tracy.
Mrs. Villela was a long time member of Tracy Community Church. She loved to bake, cook and do crafts. She was everyone's babysitter, she was a great mom who supported everything her kids did, and she will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Tony Villela of Riverbank; her children David Villela of Gardnerville, NV, Doug and Kathy Villela of Tracy, Lillian Villela of Riverbank; her grandchildren, Denise Arthur of Gardnerville, NV, D'Lanie William of Los Angeles, Don Arthur of Lake Tahoe, NV, Donald Hernandez of Ceres, Morgan Cox of Riverbank, Jessica Villela of Tracy, and Alexis Villela of Tracy; her great-grandchildren Taylor Arthur of Gardnerville, NV and Erica Hernandez of Stockton; and siblings, Opal Holloway and Leonard Green, both of Riverbank, and Lloyd Green of Ada, OK.
A memorial service will be held on Monday Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 So. Central Ave., Tracy and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in her name to Hospice of Stanislaus County, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.
