Nico Vazquez Cabrera, 77, of Riverbank died Thursday, Aug. 14 at UCSF, San Francisco.
She was a native of Mexico and lived in Riverbank for 45 years.
Mrs. Cabrera had worked as a laborer at Tri-Valley and Contadina Foods for 20 years.
She was a member of Teamster's Local #748 and St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel Cabrera of Riverbank; children, Sandra Flores, Hortencia Ramirez, Maricela Orozco, all of Modesto, Arthur Cabrera of Riverbank; sisters, Josephina Garcia of Riverbank, Isabel Gutierrez of Mexico; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Minerva Hernandez and Teresa Manning.
A rosary was held Aug. 19 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. No visitation. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Modesto.
