Opal Graves-Gilmore

Opal Sarah Graves-Gilmore, 98, of Oakdale died Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House.

She was a native of Arkansas and lived in Oakdale for 64 years.

Mrs. Graves-Gilmore was dental assistant for 22 years.

She was a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, a member of Royal Neighbors of America, Riverbank and a member of the First Baptist Church of Oakdale.

She is survived by her children, Donald Graves of Turlock, Howard Graves of Arkansas, Leon Graves, and Vic Graves, both of Oakdale; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel with burial to follow.
