On the morning of November 16, 2022, Stephanie Dunn passed away due to complications from treatment for cervical cancer. She ascended to heaven and will live eternally as she was a Christian and loved God.

Stephanie was born on October 9, 1970 in Stockton, CA and has been a resident of Tracy for 50 years. She graduated from Jefferson School, class of ’84, Central Catholic High School, class of ’88 and UC Davis, class of ’92. Stephanie taught first-grade at Monticello Elementary School for several years before becoming the owner of Tender Loving Care Childcare Centers in Tracy. Her love for teaching and passion came from within and she was well known for her generous heart and kind nature. Stephanie gave every child and staff member a chance and wanted the best for everyone.

As an active member of the community, besides her love for children was her love of animals. In addition to caring for her own three dogs she fostered dogs for East of Eden for many years. She also would never leave a stray along the road, would stop and pick it up and would either find its owner or rehome it. Stephanie was also a willing helper at many community volunteer opportunities like Brighter Christmas and more.

Stephanie enjoyed time at home and hanging out with her kids. She also liked trips to Carmel, the foothills, golf and tennis. She and Roger enjoyed long weekend treks to the ocean or the foothills with their travel trailer. The common memory that everyone notes about Stephanie is her constant big smile and positive attitude.

Stephanie leaves behind her children Blake Dunn and Peyton Dunn, her fiancé Roger Gallant, her parents Marty and Jean Enos and Ed and Carole Rocha and a brother, Doug Rocha. Also siblings Ed Rocha, Jr., Mike Rocha, Russ Enos, Randy Enos and Ron Enos, Eric vonBargen, Lisa Radakovich and Noelle vonBargen. In addition she leaves many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Burial will be private and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 11 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Ave., Tracy. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, possible donations could be made in Stephanie’s memory to the American Cancer Society. For condolences to the family, please visit www.frymemorialchapel.com.
