Terri Elizabeth Strange, 57, of Napa died Saturday, Jan. 24 at her residence.
A native of Oakdale, she was raised in Riverbank. She was a 1964 graduate of Oakdale High School, as well as received her Bachelors degree from Chico State University, Chico. She was also a Past Honored Queen of Bethel 156, Riverbank, International Order of Job's Daughters. She worked as an insurance office manager for Scott Tandy Insurance and later Avery and Seminara Insurance in Napa. She also worked in the educational field for many years. She was an inspirational speaker as a cancer survivor for the "I Can Cope" program and a "Reach to Recovery" volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was also an avid scuba diver, diving all over the world with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Keith R. Strange of Napa; sister, Cheryl A. Madrid of Browns Valley; three nieces, three nephews and a grand niece and two grand nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Luzelle Terrel Blake, father, Kenneth Warren Blake and brother, James Henry Blake.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 15 in Napa.
