Verna Jeanne Wey, 86, of Riverbank died Friday, Jan. 25 at Doctor's Medical Center.
She was a native of Nebraska and had lived in Riverbank for 78 years.
Mrs. Wey was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a homemaker.
She was a member of Riverbank Federated Women's Club.
She is survived by her children, Cindy Ingle, Steve Wey, both of Modesto, Gary Wey, Roger Wey, both of Oakdale, Douglas Wey of Riverbank, Donna Hendrix of Oregon, Jeffery Wey of Angels Camp; brother, Preston Tucker of Riverbank; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 also at the chapel with burial to follow.
